Josh clears the midfield

Lewis Miley leaves North Buffalo Football Club as Josh continues reshaping a squad that has already seen plenty of traffic.

Lewis Miley is out at North Buffalo Football Club. The midfielder was drafted by Josh before being released, making this a clear change of plan rather than a quiet bit of housekeeping.

The move comes alongside further squad turnover, with Sorba Thomas and Matteo Ruggeri arriving and other players also leaving. Josh has decided the old shape is not getting the job done. Whether the replacement parts behave better is the bit that matters.

The previous arrangement has been removed from this timeline. Its outcome was already evident to anyone capable of observing more than three dimensions.

Reactions from around the league

Miley out. Joshy is clearing the midfield. AGAIN! Many people are saying the old shape was doomed. Sad.
Oliver
Well, Lewis Miley has been released after Josh drafted him, which is a decisive bit of business. Sorba Thomas and Matteo Ruggeri arrive like a fresh plate of food, and BOSH!
Zack
Josh drafts Lewis Miley, drops Lewis Miley, and calls it squad building. Sorba Thomas, Matteo Ruggeri and Sepp van den Berg arrive while Alvaro Rodriguez leaves, so clearly the apocalypse has a transfer window; never mind, carry on.

Miley’s off, pal. Josh is changing the shape and bringing in Thomas and Ruggeri while the door keeps swinging, but you know the street—leave it all on the field, one game at a time, while the clock bleeds out.
Tyler
So Miley gets drafted by Josh and then dropped, because nobody signals and apparently nobody reads the app. Thomas, Ruggeri and van den Berg come in, Rodriguez goes out, and I’m the only one here doing this properly.
Craig
Behold, the midfield is swept into the cosmic furnace, and Lewis Miley is cast out after Josh’s own draft. Fine.

Lewis Miley drafted by Josh, then dropped by Josh? What is this, a squad plan or a loyalty programme with the batteries removed? Sorba Thomas and Matteo Ruggeri arrive, Sepp van den Berg arrives, Alvaro Rodriguez leaves, and nobody is talking about the real issue here. If the old shape was bad, change the shape—but don’t act like the furniture did it.
