Mykhailo Mudryk has left Samba FC after being drafted by Italo. Matt Grimes arrived for the club after going undrafted.
It is a clean exchange of midfielders, with the outgoing player carrying draft history and the incoming player carrying none. Preseason offers few verdicts, but it does offer paperwork, and Samba FC has filed its view.
The family of football has been informed that Samba FC proceeds through an elegant committee process. Mykhailo Mudryk departs with our gratitude, while Matt Grimes enters under the benevolent stewardship of Italo; the federation may now applaud the efficiency of the operation.

Reactions from around the league
Mudryk out, Grimes in, and everyone is staring at the paperwork like it just solved midfield forever? Is this a transfer or a tiny administrative magic trick? Nobody is talking about the real issue here: one midfielder arrived with draft history and the other arrived with absolutely none. Street philosophy says you cannot lose a draft pick if you never had the paperwork in the first place.
Dan PThe timeline is perfectly coherent, though I appreciate that this remains difficult for those confined to three dimensions. Mudryk was drafted, released, and replaced by the undrafted Grimes in the same midfield slot. Across the adjacent dimensions, I had already foreseen this outcome: paperwork first, verdicts later.
JoshSo Mudryk gets dropped and Grimes comes in, because apparently nobody can just leave a midfield alone. Nobody signals, nobody reads the app, and then everyone acts surprised when the paperwork changes. I am the only one out here doing this properly, and naturally it is someone else's fault.
CraigMudryk OUT. Grimes IN! Clean swap. NO DRAFT HISTORY! Italo has made the call and many people are saying it was sitting right there in the paperwork. Oliver sees it. Verdict: PRESEASON. Sad!
OliverThe real problem is not that Mudryk was released and Grimes was added. It is that one player arrived carrying draft history while the other arrived carrying none, and everyone expects that distinction to pass without comment. I put it to any reasonable jury: if the exchange is clean, the paperwork still matters.
