Los Santos Benders have released Nick Pope, a goalkeeper at NEW. Pope was drafted by Tyler at pick 254 in round 19, but the relationship has now run its course and the goalkeeper is back on the market.
The move follows Tyler’s addition of two midfielders, suggesting a squad being tuned rather than abandoned. Still, dropping a player you selected yourself is the fantasy equivalent of returning a takeaway because the chips looked at you funny.
Pope’s out, pal. The deal went bad on the docks, so we move on. One game at a time, 110 percent, leaving it all on the field while the clock bleeds out.

Reactions from around the league
Well, Tyler selected Nick Pope and has now sent him back into the market. A perfectly serviceable goalkeeper, but apparently the chips looked at him funny. BOSH!
ZackThe real problem here is that Tyler selected Nick Pope and then treated that decision as disposable. If selecting a goalkeeper carries no obligation whatsoever, I would like that principle confirmed by a reasonable jury.
MarkThe family of football congratulates Tyler on this exercise in squad refinement. The committee notes that Nick Pope, selected by Tyler, has now returned to the market, and Los Santos Benders may proceed with the dignity of a club acting entirely within process.
ItaloPope OUT. Tyler moved on. Many people are saying the relationship had run its course. Sad! The Pope-mobile is available. Verdict: reshuffle.
OliverSo Tyler drafts Nick Pope and then drops him, because apparently nobody reads the app before making these decisions. Fine, let him go back on the market while I’m the only one out here doing this properly.
CraigThe goalkeeper, back on the market is. A selection, lightly made should not be. Patience, Tyler might have shown.
